Pre-School already???

Aynslee Lyn has started pre-school! I can't believe that she is old enough. She is going Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for 3 hours each day. Her first day was Thursday and she loved it. I gave her a kiss and she said "bye mom" walked right in and that was that. I miss her, but it is also nice to have a few hours with just Blaze. She has already learned more than I had expected. My kids are growing up! AAHHH!

Kindergarten

Shade started Kindergarten this year!! I can't believe that he is already old enough. He is SO ready and was so excited to go. He is bouncing off the walls when he gets home so he must be having a good time. I can't really get much out of him. All he tells me about is lunch and snack time. I am glad he is ready and his teacher Mrs. Tate seems like she will be good for him. I know how much Jax learned in Kindergarten and I am excited to see Shade grow and learn just much.

2nd Grade

Jackson started 2nd grade this year. I can't believe how much he has grown up this summer. He is really ready for school. We met his teacher Mrs. Williams and she seems like she will be a good teacher for him. When I dropped him off he walked in and saw a big pile of books on his desk and I think he realized that 2nd grade is a whole new grade. No more playing, lots more work. I know he will do great though and I am excited for what the year will bring.

Growing up!!!

I took Blaze to get his haircut the other day. I am so sad because it makes him look SO grown -up! His hair was so long and he would sweat in this heat and it would stick to his head, so I thought I would do him a favor. I have to say that even though he looks bigger, he is still stinking cute. LOVE this little boy!!!

Idaho trip 2010

I am not even sure where to start with this blog. We went to Idaho on vacation for almost a month and a half. We had such a great time spending that much time with family that we don't get to see very often. We stayed at my parents house the whole time since Zach's parents are on their mission still. The kids worked on the farm with my dad and had a blast. We had a family reunion, swim lessons, hikes, lots of shopping and just spending good family time. It all started when we packed the car on June 15th and drove for 27 hours and 3 days home to Idaho. Jed drove home with us in his car so it was a huge help to have the kids jump in his car to mix things up a little. We didn't have any problems, and the kids were SO good! I honestly can not complain one minute about them. I think they did better than I did. Zach stayed for a week and then flew home to work. After 3 weeks, we flew back and stayed another week and drove us home again. The trip back was not as great. We decided that we would go see the Grand Canyon on the way and found out a little late that it would add about 400 extra miles to the trip and add an extra day. Not good. Then, on day 3 our car broke down around Amarillo Texas. (8 years ago driving through almost the same spot our truck broke down!!!! Never driving through that spot again!!!!) It took 5 hours of sitting in the heat of Texas our car was finally fixed and we started back home. That added some extra hours as well. We ended up spending 35 hours of just driving time getting back home. I can't tell you how excited we were to walk into our home again. The kids ran around remembering everything. The summer is about over, but I can promise that this summer will be one to remember. We had so much fun in Idaho and LOVE spending time with family. It is hard to be away and only seeing grandparents once a year, but vacations like the one we just had helps make up for it. Thank you to everyone who let us mooch off of you and for taking time to hang out with us. We will never forget it!!!! Now, enjoy a million pictures. I would do a slideshow, but I want them all to publish in my book so I have to post each one.

THE BEACH!!!!

We just got back from our summer trip to the BEACH! We LOVE it. We went to Gulf Shores Alabama this year because the beach we were planning on going to had oil wash up the day before we were going to leave. Sad. Zach's sister and her family came down here for a vacation so we met them at the beach and stayed for the weekend. It was perfect weather and the waves were great! The only bad thing was the last day we were there, oil washed on the beach. It is sad how you hear about it happening, but it doesn't really sink in until you see it happening and how it really is a problem. I didn't take the camera down to the ocean because I didn't want to get sand and water on it, but I did get a few pictures before we left. It was so fun and I am already looking forward to next year!

Our hotel was right on the beach. So much fun!

This was taken from our balcony. You can see how humid it was.

Our hotel again.

This is our first picture of just us in a LONG time. I don't even remember the last one. Usually a baby in my arms!

Our beach family!!

I FINALLY got some good pictures of my Blaze. He is 8 months and still stinking cute. Not much to say, I thought you would enjoy the pictures more!
