Idaho Post.....Finally

This post should be a part 1,2,and 3 but I am just going to get it done today or it will never get done. Get ready for a ton of pictures. I don't even know where to start. We had such a great time in Idaho, we always do. We love to see family and friends and the kids love to stay up until midnight almost every night. I especially loved being away from the humidity 6 1/2 months pregnant this year. We were going NONSTOP, but I feel that we had more of a vacation this year instead of doing things we "have" to do. We made NO plans beforehand and kind of went with the flow and surprisingly enough we saw everyone and everything we wanted and added some extras in as well. We left for activities when we wanted and took time to just play. Isn't that what a vacation is about? We had two reunions, went fishing, the boys helped Grandpa Leak haul hay, roasted hot dogs, rode horses, rode on the four wheelers many times a day and played with tons of cousins! As you will be able to tell from the pictures we had a blast. We miss everyone already and the kids are already counting down for next summer. Thank you to all of you who made it a great 2 weeks and sorry we ate all your food and trashed your homes. Just be glad it is only once a year right? Love ya!! Idaho!

I just wanted to post something quick to let you all know that we are in Idaho for a little bit. I am getting some great pictures and having a ton of fun. The weather is beautiful!! We would love to see any of you out here if we can. Let us know! Get ready for picture overload when we get back!!

We found out!!

I think I can count about 6 people right now who are all having a baby the same time I am. 'Tis the season I guess. Anyway all but one are having girls. I went and got my ultrasound today and "baby" was breech with it's bum sticking out for all to see. We tried with all our might to get a good picture of its face but only bum shots worked out. What a picture to show its friends later on. Anyway, after looking for a while and making sure that everything is well the baby did let us peek for a minute to show us we are adding another......

Update

What has the Stewart family been up to? Besides Dr. appointments for Aynslee's ear infections, Shades broken arm and my baby appointments we haven't really had time for much. No water since Shade can't get his arm wet. (Not a fun thing when the heat index is 100 and you get wet just walking to get the mail). But, here are a few pictures I did take these last few weeks. Don't mind Shade's outfit. This is what he wears most days. Here is a picture of his broken arm. He has started to get used to it and now proudly shows his arm to anyone and everyone that will notice him. He is no longer feeling like a "freak". We are very glad for that but a little embarrassed as he walks in the store announcing that he is here and that he broke his arm. Shady Shady, quite the funny little guy.
Jax has officially turned into a hillbilly. We have started to call him Billy since he is currently missing 3 teeth and working on another. His grand total of lost teeth....5. Too bad he went to the Nascar race before his top tooth fell out. He would fit right in now!

My Jax man is quite the cook. Sunday nights are left up to him to decide. His choice....hot dogs. I have to admit he makes a mean hot dog. No burnt parts and nice gooey cheese in the middle. Not bad for a 6 year old. Cute smile too.

This is what happens when you are letting your kids play with markers then get a phone call and leave the room because you can't hear. Well, you end up with a 2 year old getting under the table and coloring on the floor, the chairs and even under the tabletop. Good thing they were washable.

She felt bad though! This is why she never gets in trouble!

Poor Shade!

Being a parent brings so many different emotions through out the journey. When they are born there is pain and total happiness at the same time. At birthdays and milestones there are moments of being so proud you think you might burst. Last night was a night I got to feel another emotion that you hope you don't feel very often.
We were all outside playing together as a family and had some water on the trampoline and we also have a slide on our tramp. Shade was standing at the bottom of the slide and there was a little water on it and totally out of the blue he just fell. He was not jumping or being crazy like he usually is, he was just standing on it and some water got under his foot and he slipped and fell off the slide right on his arm. I knew right away something was wrong and took him to the E.R. and found out he has a broken elbow. He was such a trooper and only cried when it first happened. I think he was being strong for me so I wouldn't have a nervous breakdown. (He knows his mommy). They put a temporary cast on him today so the swelling will go down and tomorrow we go to the Orthopedic Surgeon to make sure all he needs is a hard cast. We are all crossing our fingers. The sad thing about it is that he says he looks like a "freak". (Yes, my 3 year old talks like that). I try and tell him it is cool and everyone will feel bad for him and he will get extra candy from people but he is just so sad.
This is the moment that when a parent says if they could take it away they would . I would do anything to make Shade not feel pain or not feel like a "freak". I would gladly take it if I could. The moments of parenthood we wish would never happen!

My poor poor Shade!!!! He didn't want anyone to see him so he wanted Jax in the picture with him thinking no one would notice his arm. Sweet boy!

Our projects and visitors

This post is a little old, but I wanted to get the pictures up so family could see what I have been talking about for so long. About 2 weeks ago Zach's mom and dad came out to visit us. Everytime they visit we always end up doing a lot of projects around the house. This time we painted part of the kitchen and hallway to the 4th bedroom. It was SO needed because it was white paint that we had before and the kids would run their dirty little hands along the walls and you could see what they had for lunch all around the table. The new paint covered it all up and looks great. While they were here the Zach, his parents and the boys went to a NASCAR race in Talladega Alabama. From what they said it was very fun and they are still talking about it.

We got Aynslee a "big girl bed" and she is sleeping SO MUCH better. She looks so cute and small in such a big bed. We always have fun when they are here. The kids LOVE when family comes to see them. We appreciate all of their help and hard work. Here are a few pictures of the trip and our projects that we got done. We chose Oatmeal as the color. It is ok, different than I thought but it is growing on me.

Zach is the Flight Commander at work and his class graduated so we got to go to the dinner. This is us before we left. Doesn't my man look hot! Love a man in uniform! Yay for grandma and grandpa as babysitters!! (For those of you who live by family you are lucky!! It was great having family as babysitters!)

Happy 2nd Birthday Aynslee

On May 8th it was Aynslee's 2nd birthday. I can't believe that she is so grown up. It seems like it happened over night. We decided to just take it easy, but Aynslee had other plans. The minute she woke up she just kept saying "birthday" over and over while throwing her fits about what she would or wouldn't wear or would or wouldn't eat for breakfast and lunch and on and on. She showed us that she is now 2 and is going to bring on the terrible two's. But, between her fits she was very excited that it was her birthday and it was fun to see her know it was her special day. She makes our family a very different family than what we were 2 years ago. I am so glad to have a baby girl and I can't wait for more fits and birthdays with this crazy girl.
