End of school

This is a little out of order, but I thought I better add a little bit about school.  I can't believe it is over already!  The kids all did great and all are moving on.  Next year I will have  5th, 3rd, 1st graders and one in pre-school!!  I feel SO old!  I will actually have 6 hrs a week without any kids at home.  I have to admit that I am freaking out a little bit.  It's been a long time since I have been alone in the day.  I'm sure I will find something to do. Here are a few pictures of the last day of school.  I didn't get one of Ayns, they didn't have an end of the year program like the boys did.

Jax got a bunch of awards, these are just the 2 big ones.

Shades amazing teacher helped the kids publish books throughout the year and Shade got to read his favorite book he published to the class and their parents.  It's called Shade Island.  SO cute.  I think we may have another author in the Stewart family.

My friend Kim gave me the idea to have a "welcome summer" party when they got off the bus on the last day.  I bought water guns, bubbles, water balloons and drinks.  It was going to be great, until it started pouring rain!!!  We had fun in the house anyway.
A picture of them on the last day.  They have grown up SO SO much.  LOVE these sweet babies.

Floyd

Floyd......Not sure what to say about this dog.  We LOVE him and we want to sell him at the same time.  He loves Blaze and Blaze loves him so I think he is here to stay.  I have started taking him to obedience school and he is getting better.  He likes to wrestle with us even when we are not in the mood and he likes to run after birds and I'm not sure he even knows him name.  He frustrates me to no end, but when I look at pictures like these of him playing with the boys, I know we made the right decision.  Floyd is part of our family.

Dance!!!

Dance recital!  I now realize how much my mom did for me growing up!  13 years of dance recitals that she sat through, I owe her big time!!  I sat for 4 days in a row with a total of 16 hrs in dress rehearsals and fittings and pictures and then 2 shows.  All I know is that my baby girl was beautiful and she loved it and that is what matters.  Aynslee  Lyn did a great job and she knew the whole dance and smiled and looked so sweet.  I was crying like a crazy lady.  My family can't take me anywhere, the boys were so embarrassed.  Ayns wasn't sure she wanted to keep dancing, but after the recital she had a taste of the stage and has decided she wants to stick with it.  She said ballet is boring though so we wants to try hip hop or jazz and tap.  No problem little sweetie, I will sit through a thousand more recitals to see your sweet face so happy!!

Mud Run

Last Saturday my AWESOME friends and I ran in a mud run.  I LOVED it.  I think I may have started something because I am already looking up when the next mud, foam, water, extreme, anything run that is close by. Luckily this one was in Kansas City. The mud run was a 5K run with 12 obstacles along the way.  They were my favorite part. We had a great time in the run laughing and falling and laughing and a little running and laughing.  Our families came out to support and laugh at us and take pictures.  I have seen most of the pics, but I am afraid our husbands may be holding some back to hold over our heads later.  We were pretty gross at the end.  THANK YOU to all of my great friends who ran with me and put up with me begging you all to do it with me.  I know you loved it and it was totally worth it, right?

I have to add this picture because it cracks me up. We were on our way home and I looked out my window and saw Shades face hanging out with window like a dog.

Shades Birthday

Happy Birthday to Shade!!!   June 27th was my sneaky little boys big day.  8 years old!!!  We had planned on going to a movie, but it wasn't showing so then we decided to go to the pool, then it rained. Then, we were going to go to watch Zach play in a soccer game but it was cancelled.  So..... we went to the awesome Family Video and checked out a FREE video game and we chilled at home.  I think it was a pretty good day though, I didn't make him do his chores so he was pretty excited about that.  Jax decorated his cake for him and he LOVED it. Little lego man.  He got some awesome gifts and cards from family.  Shade has decided to get baptized in Idaho when we go out there next month in the reservoir on the family farm.  He has chosen to spend his special day with friends and family.  This little boy has the biggest heart of anyone I know.  He ALWAYS makes sure you are happy and if not he will be the first to give you a hug. I have known from the day he was born that he is here to do special things.  I am SO lucky to be privileged to be his mother and I love watching him grow.  Love you Shady!!

Aynslee is 6!!!

My sweet girl turned 6 yesterday!!  I honestly can't believe how fast these years have gone.  Aynslee is a spunky little thing.  She can hold her own with all her brothers and they come in to complain about her being to rough.  She has the FUNNIEST personality.  She is always cracking me up.  I have no idea how such a little girl can be so quick with her responses that are hilarious.  She LOVES to dress like a girly girl at school but the minute she is off the bus she is in her play clothes outside screaming.  Aynslee loves mac and cheese but HATES chocolate.  I know, I wonder sometimes if she is really mine. She LOVES to draw on anything.  If it is important you better put it away or you will find one of Aynslees creations on it.  She is an amazing kind hearted sister and a very loving daughter.  I am so blessed to have this beauty as my little girl and I am excited that the older she becomes the closer we get.

Ayns showing her hat she got at school

As usual Blaze would not eat his dinner so this is what he was doing during Aynslees party

 $20!!!

Can you tell she LOVES books!!

 Reading it right away

We thought we bought a strawberry cake, but they ended up cherries.  Good thing she is so easy going.  No big deal, as long as it was not chocolate.

Haircut!

Aynslee got a haircut!!  I am SO sad because once it was done, she looked 5 years older.  Gone was her little girl face and here is her new "I am sassy" attitude.  All with a little haircut. She had been begging me forever to cut her hair and I said no until one night she was begging again so I told her to sit down and I grabbed my scissors and chopped it off.  She was a little surprised but LOVED it in the end. She does look pretty dang cute!
