LOTS of pictures, LOTS of fun

HALLOWEEN:

Let me start with the pictures of Halloween. We carved pumpkins the night before, and even though we do it every year, the kids are amazed at what is inside the pumpkins and that we get to cut them up. They loved it. Aynslee just ran around with Shade chasing her, but Jax actually got in a grabbed some seeds. We threw them down pretty quick. It was a fun, cold night. Getting ready to carve

Mommy and kids

The kids showing our display

Then for Halloween the kids dressed up as:
A ninja

A boxer

A poodle skirt girl

I was proud of myself for making this one. It actually fit. I have to brag a little because I don't sew very often, so when I make something that works I am excited.
We went to the base and went trick-or-treating and got a ton of candy. We only went down 2 streets and decided that we had enough to last us until the summer. I used to love Halloween until I became a mom. Now I am not so sure when my kids are running around on a sugar high for the next week straight. I guess it is the look on my kids faces when they are all dressed up and getting candy that makes it worth while.

Then, yesterday was Zach's birthday. Last week Zach scheduled his birthday off from work, so we were so excited to hang out all day, but the poor guy ended up being sick all day. Out of the entire year his birthday was the day he got sick. I think he needs his gallbladder out. We will find out tomorrow. Anyway, we had a little party for him. He got lots of nice cards and gifts from family, and we got him a table saw and a dangerous hunt game for the wii. We ate carrot cake with cream cheese frosting (our favorite) and did spend the day together. Happy birthday Zach.
Blowing out the candles. I won't say how many!!!

Happy birthday!!!

I had to throw this one in because I am still amazed everyday when Aynslee wakes up what her hair can do. Good luck to who ever she marries. Still pretty cute though

I have to laugh at the hair. I have so many picts of Rylee like that. It must come from the LEAKS. Glad things are good.

Great Job on the skirt Rikki! We did get a little of mom's sewing abilities. It looks like you had a ton of fun, and Zach's cake looks yummy. Happy Birthday Zach! Great job carving the pumpkins too. Ryanne wanted to tell the kids hi. We love you all.

Ok, I don't know why, but that picture of shade as a boxer seriously cracks me up! He looks so...so...so...cute? but that's not what I mean, so...so...meanish? no, I don't know. Maybe...real? That could be it. It's just shady and it makes me laugh. Sometimes if i'm on the computer, i just have to come look at it really fast so i can get a laugh in. I need you guys closer.
